I just assumed that poster didn't want lettuce on their sub because of personal preference. I definitely haven't heard anything about avoiding lettuce.

I missed the original post, thank you for the link. It was amazing. I just can't get over the fact that instead of just buying the sandwiches without lettuce and getting the lettuce from the store they bought all of the ingredients and made their own. Well at least now you can make your own JJ sandwich anytime!

Yeah, it's something to do with the yeast, and hormones in your saliva.

It's really no biggie, if your kid has a tail, you can just scare them while holding it and it'll snap off, just like a gecko.
