Sleeping and not quite rolling.

So, DS is starting to roll from back to tummy. He did it once yesterday and decided he wanted to try it again....all night long. Only problem? He couldn't get himself over again, so he was screaming non-stop last night whiel stuck on his side. We would go in and he would be on his side, the free arm and leg flailing around, and paci just out of reach of his tongue. It was funny to watch, but it continued to happen and we had to constantly get up and put him on his back.

Any suggestions on how to deal with this. We were getting a good 4 hours of sleep in between feedings, but we seemed to be up quite a bit more last night. And lack of sleep seems not to agree with us very much! :)

    Can he room in with you guys til he gets it? That's a benefit of cosleeping for sure. What about swaddling with both arms free?

    Oh yeah, sleep is often interrupted by both mental and physical development :/

    No advice.  It will work itself out eventually.  Just hang in there!

    It may be something he just has to work out. I'm sorry.

    DD is where she gets stuck half on her belly w her arm stuck still. But she is still in the rnp.
