Busy week-end spent putting away winter gear, organizing, baby room prepping, etc. Now at work trying to get stuff done, but wishing I was home in bed catching up on Netflix.

We went to the zoo with cousins on Saturday. On Sunday we did the March of Dimes walk and then ordered pizza and had an outdoor picnic at the local metro park.
Today is library story time and picking up the house from the weekend.

I'm waiting to have a baby!! IV is in, csection at 11! Such a different experience from last time, no week long, failed induction.
Hooray! I hope everything goes smoothly!
As for me....I'm clinging to my last shreds of sanity. We had a really bad night last night (where DS was obviously exhausted, but chose to throw a party in his crib instead). Plans to go to the park were rained out for both yesterday and today, so I have a stir-crazy toddler and frazzled nerves.
I have to clean today, so I don't intend to be on much. My dad was SUPPOSED to get here Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday but I got a text last night that he's getting here tomorrow morning. Pfft. The guest room/nursery is still a disaster of "I have no idea how to hang these curtains" from LAST weekend.
But my kitchen is clean, thanks to my frustration from DS last night.
And since my dad will be here, I'll have an excuse to eat out. Silver lining, right?
We had a rough weekend. DS has some sort of stomach bug, I think. No fever, but he's hardly eaten anything since Friday afternoon and he's got diarrhea, poor guy.
Today I am cleaning, catching up on laundry and doing my grocery shopping for the week. Is it strange that I absolutely LOVE grocery shopping? I enjoy the problem solving aspect of planning yummy, healthy meals while staying within a budget.

And there's something else you and I have in common. I love to write my shopping list and get way to excited when boneless chicken breasts are 3.49 a pound. Lol
Been running like crazy, it seems, between MOMS Club events, family outings, etc.. And spending a lot more time playing outside in this fantastic weather we've been having lately! And in between all that, trying to get the house cleaned, freezer meals made, and stuff prepared for new baby. Less than five weeks left with just our little family of three!
Re: What's everyone up to?
I can't find my pots ::tear::
Busy Weekend for me, not that I post much during the weekend anyways.
Surprise 60th for my dad at my house with over 40 people, My mom did the food, but I was the one who contacted everyone.
Then my Future SIL stuck around yesterday and today to do some wedding planning, so I missed my nap to catch up on sleep with Abel, lol

ZOMG today is the 6th, isn't it? And it's almost 1 now so I am assuming you are busy snuggling your LO right now. Congratulations!

See my holy crap post.
It has seemed as if everything is never ending lately. Right at this current second I am stuffing diapers while P plays in the shower.
Just went through and read responses, yippeee for you!!!
So even with my wakey newborn nighttime hours I still neglect posting.
// I love you too. //
