DS has dry skin.. i am currently using mustela lotion ..but it is not moisturizing enough and he has rough patches on his skin.. any suggestions for a good baby lotion
I would NOT suggest using Aveeno. this product is made by JJ which have been warned by the fda to take a cancer causing chemical out of their products. They "promised" to take it out by 2015 which means all their products still contain this chemical. There was recently a story about the fda suspending their license. plllllleeease don't use any of their products!
Eta: also we use California baby or coconut oil on DS's eczema.
I just took Aria to her pedi this morning for this very reason. Turns out, she has Eczema! We were told to use Vaseline and coat her in that before bedtime and then to use Aveeno brand lotion for Eczema Treatment only. Her pedi said other lotions dont really treat severe dry skin near as well.

Thank you for posting this. I'll find something different to use...
Pediatrician recomended Eucerin for MJ. It was too greasy for me so I would mix it with her regular lotion... Then one day I discovered creamy petroleum jelly! Wow dry patches that she's had on her back and arms since forever are gone! Who woulda thunk it?
