Toddler Dolls reccomendations please

Hoping to get some recommendations for dolls from Moms w/older daughters or really anyone in the know :). We're looking to get Izzy (about to turn 2 in 2 weeks so this would be her b'day present) a doll that she can change it's clothes (w/out their outfits costing more than mine) and it not cost an arm and a leg. There are so many kinds of dolls out there, it's overwhelming.

TIA!

We have baby Stella, an American Girl bitty baby, and various baby princess dolls. By far the favorite is her bitty baby.  It goes everywhere with my daughter and she has loved it for over a year now.  It's pricey but worth it IMO.

    Same here.

DD has another baby doll that my Aunt got for her and quite honestly it's not the same.  She just prefers her Bitty Baby and brings it with her shopping, on walks, etc.  Also what I like about it is it gives other people gift ideas.  They know she has a Bitty Baby, so they can easily give her something that goes along with it.  Knowing that the clothes will fit, the changing table will be the perfect size, etc.

  • We have a baby Stella and a Bitty Baby. Reese prefers the baby stella. But all her dolls that she loves are the soft ones.

Because she is little, the bitty baby is just too awkward for her to carry around. The soft dolls are easy for her to carry and move around.

  • My dd also has Baby Stella and a Bitty Baby.  She loves both equally.  She has a harder time changing Stella's clothes because she is soft.  Her bitty baby has some hand-me-down american girl clothes from an older cousin, but we actually prefer Target's brand - they seem to be easier for her to do herself!

  • Chloe loves pretty much any baby doll, but she seems to play with her cabbage patch kid the most.
