My heart just swelled with the love from you ladies as I read this post. Thank you. I have nothing to report, but we definitely think the EM is/was scamming. She stopped communicating with the agency mid-afternoon on Friday when they told her they saw her facebook page which shows she is married to the person to whom she said her rent check gets paid too. She sent us a text saying that she rents from "senior" who is her child's grandfather. Records on a search don't show a senior exists and "junior" has a wrap sheet that I found on line that goes back many years. She sent several text messages that she still wants us to have the baby, so all we are doing is waiting until Friday when if she hasn't been lying (which I am pretty sure at this point she is or she would have called us this weekend like she said she would) she can sign the TPR, but my hopes are not too high. I can say we are much better than the last time. We are not hysterical like last time. Seeing a baby is much worse than this time around and frankly despite the financial loss, emotionally we didn't allow ourselves to get attached in the 6 weeks we got on this latest rollercoaster ride. We bought nothing, so the only thing lost is money and frankly it stinks, but it is just money. My faith in EM's is at an all time low even though I still have the utmost respect for the one's who become BM's. If this goes down as we think it may, we may take this to the FBI. The lies we have been told are truly something we never thought possible, but then again we always try to find the best in people. This whole adoption thing has just opened our eyes even wider to the maliciousness some people have in their hearts and I truly hope what goes around comes around, because this is truly one of the cruelest things a person can do. Again, thank you all for your support. It is so helpful especially since this time around the only people who knows anything are my parents.

It is just unbelievable. No one deserves to go through what you have gone through. I really pray this ends up working out for you, but if it is a scam, honestly, I just really hope that you meet your baby so soon and can put all this behind you.

Glad to hear from you but wish it was better news. I really hope this does work out. It makes me so sad to think that there are people out there who would do this and just add to the stuff you have already been through. Like the other ladies, I sure can't wait until you tell us that you are a Mom. Continued prayers and positive thoughts are headed your way. xo
