HELP!

Help! My 7 month old was a champion sleeper. She would knock out around 730, and sleep straight through till 630 or 7 am. This past week, she has started waking up about an hour after she goes to bed and screaming her head off. I manage to get her back to sleep, and an hour later the same thing happens. It sounds like something is wrong, but I have no clue what it could be. I've ruled out teething, she's definitely not hungry, and I know she's tired because she falls asleep when I pick her up. This is night 3 of no sleep for mom or dad. If I sit in the recliner with her, she sleeps like a charm. As soon as she hits the crib, she's screaming again.

Ideas? She's fine all day, not cranky or anything and doesn't seem to be sick in any way.

Maybe an ear infection. My little guy had an ear infection with no fever, no other signs, just occasionally grabbed his ear when eating and was uncomfortable when laying down so he cried when he laid down.

Wouldn't rule out teething just b/c you see no teeth buds yet. My guy's teeth showed up overnight so I'm sure he felt them a day or two before.

I'd get her checked out- my pedi said a number one sign of ear infections is crying when laying down b/c their ears hurt when laying down.

Thanks for the tip, I definitely think that we are going to take her to the pediatrician tomorrow. I don't want her to be in pain without me knowing it for something like an ear infection. Not that I don't love cuddling and sleeping with her, but I know it's just a sign that something is not right when she won't sleep in her own crib.

Are you sure it is not teething? This sounds exactly like my daughter before she showed any teething signs. She would wake up screaming and the second I picked her up she would immediately pass out in my arms. We went to the doctor and ruled out ear infection and the doctor didn't see teething signs but one week later.... Teeth!
