We just moved my 3 month old out of our bed and into her pack n play but still in our room. So not ready for her to move to her room down the hall. I know I know...
But wanted to get opinions on whether to buy the extra mattress for the pack n play. Worth it? The mattress thing that came with it is not thick or soft and I feel like it must feel like sleeping on a futon with the bars underneath. But I can't decide because she STTN for the first time her first night in it so maybe it's not so bad??? Opinions?

I wouldn't, but that's because we use the PnP for travel and to sleep at friends' houses, and it would be a pain to transport.
My LO is 4 1/2 months old and I'm so not ready for him to move out of our room. I like to be able to look over at him when I wake up at night. He's been sleeping in the PNP since the beginning and he seems to enjoy the mattress that came with it, probably b/c he doesn't know anything else. I say skip the thicker mattress.
