  can't hurt to try...I recommend the 3 day potty training naked.

  We did this at 22 months and I do pull ups for nap and bed. She did how ever go on the potty after her bath almost every night starting at 12 months.   

  I decided to do potty training when she started taking off her own diaper and handing me a clean one to put on her.

  Well, I've potty trained four kids now and I have yet to find 'the method'. I ask a lot, "Do you want to try to go on the potty?" I've done the without diaper and have cleaned and shampooed my carpets a lot. I ususally just put them in big kid underwear, watch for cues, because they will hold themselves there when they feel the need to go eventually in big kid undies. I have also found that just when you think they've got it, they will sometimes revert back to wetting themselves for a while. I would encourage, if your lo seems interested in training, just don't let it become a stress. Have lot's of changes of clothes on hand and if it goes well, great, if not, it will happen eventually. At night, I would still use a diaper just because I don't want to interrupt sleep due to wet pajamas and sheets. My children always use the bathroom before bed and after the age of three, I have only one bed wetter and that's occasionally. Good luck:)

  Pull-ups don't work other then killing your wallet or great for night.   I use underwear during the day then purchase a few cloth trainers for outings.   It worked for us.  Initial many accidents but it depends on the readiness she could be.  Can she hold through naps or 2 hours at times during the day if so she maybe ready also verbalizing is a big deal.
