AW: Sarah McLachlan called me yesterday

Yup, that Sarah McLachlan. She was doing a mini concert at a radio station, and DH is a cop and was asked to be security there. We didn't have anyone to watch DD so I had to stay home. After the show, DH was with Sarah and a few others waiting for her car and he said that his wife is a really big fan. She said to get her on the phone.

So imagine my surprise when the caller ID says it's DH calling, and it was Sarah McLachlan asking for me. She was soooo nice and chatted for a few MINUTES. (She has a 17 mo old who bites, kicks and then laughs afterwards, and only has 5 teeth.) Then said I should come to the concert she was having later that night. Of course, I HAD to go then! So I got to see Augustana, Alanis Morisettte and Sarah live in concert last night!

Since we knew the radio station people, we got awesome tix in the center of the 2nd row and got to go backstage before and after the show and see Sarah. We got our pics taken with her (which I felt really weird about, but whatever). When she recognized DH, she looked at me and said "You came!" and gave me a hug and was super sweet.

So that's my super long AW, but it was really fun. The radio station hasn't posted the pics yet, but I'll put them up later. Fun, right?!
