Conception date

Does anyone else know they conceived on September 28th and if so what due date is your obgyn going with for you? My office has me down for July 5th but my dating ultrasound said June 30th. The office is going by the date of my last period they never asked about me knowing when we had sexy time. I just now put it in a conception calculator and it said the due date should be the 21st. I'm obviously going to bring it up at the next appointment. Was just curious.

Well I didnt conceive on the 28th, I conceived on the 30th but I have long cycles. I know for sure it was the 30th. My edd is June 22nd based on my lmp which was sept 15th AND my dating ultrasound also shows the 22nd. So I'd say the 21st sounds about right for you if u know you conceived on the 28th.

The date is really just a rough estimate. I had an IUI so I know my conception date. However my dr still uses the date from my last period. Thy are different by 4 days. Doesn't really matter. Baby will come when baby comes. However two weeks seems very off. Your dating u/s seems closer. In the end the dr will go with whatever they want. Much bigger things to worry about then this. IMO

Not worried at all... Just kind of curious lol ... I actually have my last day of work set for the 21st bc I was hoping to get a few days in with my son alone before her arrival. My son came 3 weeks early so I know for sure they come when they come the dates just seemed far apart to me too. Thanks ladies!!

no freaking clue. but i do remember the night it happened my husband mentioned that it felt "different" after we were through with the deed. fast forward two months and we were sitting in a doctors office with a positive test with a june 4 edd.

My conception date is oct 5th. I had cramps the very next day. First day of my last period was sept 25th. My due date is June 26. Most places don't consider the length of your cycles, which plays a role into your due date. This might serve as evidence as to why only 20 of women actually deliver on their due date. Mine are much shorter than most women so those due date calculators give me a little different date since they are based on the average cycle length. We tried to conceive 2 months prior and kept missing my ovulation time by a few days because I was going off of the average cycle length. Once I realized I was shorter than normal, we conceived first try!

Not surprised you are a little off from your "due date" but 2 weeks does seen like a lot!

I conceived October 5th and my edd is 6/26 too haha. So yeah, your due date sounds really off to me.

My LMP was Sept 18th. My periods are only 3 days long. I was tracking ovulation due to fertility testing and I was supposed to start on day 9 of my cycle. Well through my testing for the month I didn't ovulate. So when it came time for my next period to start I decided to take a pregnancy test. Sure enough it was positive. So I conceived between September 22-26. My ovulation was constantly off, so that month I ovulated early.

They still used my LMP date- which gave me a due date of June 25th. All my ultrasounds have been spot on and consistent with my EDD.

I know the weekend that I conceived, but not the exact date. My dating u/s was within that time frame. I'm confused though, b/c you ovulated before me, and my due date is June 24.

We conceived on Sept 18th and my LMP was Aug 26th, my due date is June 11th and that's by my LMP but in my case there is only a day difference between the two calculations so it doesn't much matter which they use.

My EDD with M was all messed up, first it was the 12/2, then 11/29, and finally 12/7. I have no idea why they flip flopped it so much. I think it was due to her her growth because I knew my conception date and LMP but they still changed it around. She was born on 12/2.

Honestly ... it really doesn't matter. It's just a base for them (the OB). The measurements of the baby at ultrasounds are more important, and babies don't care about due dates anyway.

The only time I'd be concerned is if your date was a week or more off and your OB wanted to induce you before you thought the baby was ready or something. Otherwise, I'd just let it go.

We conceived on October 4th and our EDD is June 24th. Which is what my ob is using because it matches are dating ultrasound. If we went by LMP our EDD was June 27th so close enough! But but since you conceived before me I'd assume you would be do before me. July seems late!

I know for a fact we conceived on the 27th (Happy Anniversary to us!) and my LMP was Sept. 14th. They put me down as due on June 21st and that hasn't wavered.

I ovulated the 26th and am due the 19th of June based on dating u/s. It was nice that the dating u/s lined up with what I thought based on what I knew about O-day though! It was the first time I had ovulated in five months and was shaping up to be a super long cycle (my LMP was August 28th I think) so going by LMP was totally useless.

We did IVF, so we know our conception date.

But most doctors assume people are morons and don't understand their cycles and charting so they will go by LMP (they would be right most of the time). If you were charting for a good while, you probably know your conception date though. I wouldn't stress about a few days difference unless they start pushing for induction or something.
