Mobile...Praying to the milk gods!

I have an all day field trip today with my class, which means no pumping during the day! I thought about bringing a manual pump and going to a bathroom, but I have no place to keep it cold. My supply is really sensitive so I am praying it does not take a turn for the worse. Not to mention how freaking engorged I am going to be! I am going to pump before school and then that will be it. :( Trying not to think about it and be stressed because I know that will effect my supply too. It needs to be summer so I don't have to worry about pumping and can just go back to nursing my sweet girl.

    Good luck.  You could always just pump and dump if you're really concerned.  Sucks to toss milk but it might help keep your body on track.  Either way, I hope it all works out.

    i thought about that too, but I need the milk to send to daycare tomorrow. I can barely pump one bottle for her each day. :(

    It's fine out of the fridge for 8 hours. Can you just put it in your purse?

    This. I'd rather hand express and lose some over 8+ hrs without pumping. Thats worse on your supply!

    Or a small cooler...I have one that looks like a purse...add an ice pack and you'dbe good to go!

    I had to do that when DD1 was really little. We went to a farm and obviously there was no place to pup outside at a farm with outhouses. Blech!

     

    The good thing is that summer is almost here and even if your supply dips, weeks at home nursing on demand should pump it back up!
