My DS is exclusively breastfed but I give him at least 1 bottle a day. It takes him FOREVER and I think part of the problem is that it makes him SO gassy.
When should I give Mylicon? Before the bottle? half way through?
Have you discussed with your pedi? We used to use those tummy drops until we realized that they have sugar in them. We started on colic calm which our pedi recommended. It's completely natural and I'm happy to say after day 4 our dd is doing amazing. Her gassy belly seems to be much better. It's 20 dollars a bottle but best thing we've purchased!

I normally add the drops at the last ounce of serving. It seems to help. I am also going through the same problem and have heard to use biogaia as a solution. So that's my next step. I tried gripe water once but she didn't seem to like it.
Re: When do you give gas drops??
I think it's recommended to give gas drops BEFORE food so that the drops are already working by the time the food gets there.
We do homemade gripe water in every bottle. Helps a ton.
We usually just add gas drops to the bottle. If I'm nursing him though, I give him the drops beforehand.
