Lo sleeping a lot?

Hello ladies! I have pretty much been a lurker since LO was born and I have no idea why. Lol. I feel like I know a lot of you. I became a member right as I found out I was pregnant. I was working then and I had time to get on TB all the time. (Sad when you had more time to do things when you WERE working!) Anyway, I am hoping that I can become more active. My sweet boy turned one on the 15th and he is a total mess! I do have a question. Have any of you noticed your LO's sleeping more lately? Reese went to sleep last night at 730 (He normally doesn't go to bed until after 10) and he didn't wake up until 515 this morning. He then went back to sleep and slept from 630-830. He fell asleep on the way home from church and didn't wake up until 615! Maybe it is a growth spurt, or the cold rainy weather that we are having. Or maybe he is just feeling lazy! Lol!

Re: Lo sleeping a lot?

  • First, welcome out of lurking!

Second, more sleeping could be lots of things...growth spurt, teething, just more tired from being mobile. My LO seemed to sleep a lot this weekend. He's just started walking, is getting 4 new teeth, and I hope he's not going through a growth spurt because he'll be naked if he is. So, yeah, it coule be lots of things and I'd only be concerned if they're not acting normal otherwise.

To me that sounds like the amount of sleep he should be getting. When he goes to bed after 10 does he still get up that early? Maybe he's falling into a pattern of getting the full 10-12 hours he should be getting at night? I agree it could be anything though, like teeth or a growth spurt. I've noticed since spending a lot of time playing outside Logan is sleeping longer and better. Maybe they are just wearing themselves out!
