Need opinions on the name that I have chosen...

Ok. So after going back and fourth with names, I think we are sticking with Penelope Phoenix for our little girl. I just want opinions on what other people think because sometimes us moms to be like names that make absolutely NO since. haha. I want to keep it unique and kind of rockabilly. Thanks Ladies!

One thing to note ? if "unique" is important to you, make sure you check on Penelope's popularity in your area. It is a very, very trendy name right now. In the year 2000, it wasn't even in the top 1,000 names, but in 2011 it was the #169 in the country. And after Kourtney Kardashian named her baby Penelope in 2012, you can bet it will continue to climb.

I still think it's a great name (and I love nn Nell/Nellie). But be aware that it is trendy.

I love Penelope! But I don't like Phoenix with it. I think Hazel Phoenix is cute... But Phoenix isn't really a girls name to me. If you are for sure going with Phoenix as the middle name then Hazel would be the better first name.

yeah..we live in a place where all the names are the same and my fiance and I are covered in tattoos so we feel like we can get away with different names. haha. But we love unique names that nobody has around us. My sons name is Brody and hes 5...I feel like EVERYONE has that name now!

Don't like the initials PP. I would go with hazel as the first name if Phoenix is set as the middle name

I like Hazel Phoenix more than Penelope Phoenix. I like the initials better and I think it has a better flow.

Agreed. I like Penelope first but hazel Phoenix just flows better IMO.
Usually I would say your choice, your child...but I would recommend really thinking about it before you give her the initials peepee. Penelope peepee pants, etc. kids canbe mean.

I really like it. I love unique/unisex middle names. And it sounds like a rockabilly girl to me:. My girl is Layla Grey and my twins will be Vivian Blake and Chloe Skye.
