I drive a Ford focus and needless to say, it is not designed to handle any type of clarseat. We tried out all the carseats at BRU and ended up getting the Safety 1st Alpha elite 65. Here is my dilemma. No matter what we can not get the seat to sit in my back seat so that LO's head doesn't fall forward when sleeping. The incline on the rear seat of the car is so severe that no matter how many carseat noodles I put under it, it's still too upright. what do I do? I can't afford a new car and I am worried about LO's safety. It's worse in my DH's truck. He has an F-150 extended cab and the back seat is very narrow. Not one of the car seats at aBRU fit in either car and I can't afford a $300-400 car seat since we need three of them.
Re: Convertible car seat help
The Combi is 60 off now. It's only 173!

I don't know if this will help or not, but we also have a small car. 2000 Neon. The only way our convertible would sit--and be in a deep enough reclining position--was by putting it in the center seat. We had our local PD install it with us. She put a noodle or two under it to help it recline as well.
Good luck!
