never knew there was a name for our parenting style!!

I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to discover that the parenting style you and your spouse practice which just came naturally has a valid name and is widely practiced!
I was told by so many nosey know it alls throughout the first few months of my first daughters life that I was doing it all wrong. Or that something was wrong with our daughter for being needy.
we were simply responding to her needs in a way that felt natural to us. I soon after found out that nearly everything we were doing was considered part of attachment parenting. Talk about feeling validated or better yet empowered.
we followed suit with our next child and plan to do the same with this LO. So glad you guys are here to share ideas and thoughts together with!
