XP: Sore Throat/Cold

Does anyone know of a safe medication or homeopathic remedy I can take for a sore throat/cold while BFing? I could tough it out but...I'll be honest, I'd rather not. Plus, I remember being sick while pregnant and my OBs office got mad at me for not treating it sooner.

ETA: I started coughing and having a stuffy nose overnight. Yay...

    I don't have an answer, but I just wanted to commiserate. I woke up with the same thing today. Ugh.

    I'm just getting over a similar cold. Try tea with honey and lemon, salt water gargles, hot showers to breathe the steam, LOTS of fluids and as much rest as you can get!!
