Well, ladies, we did it. We moved into our new home last Friday. Things are finally pretty settled and most of the boxes are unpacked. I'm loving the new house and the fact that we can actually do what we want with it. The only negative thing I have to say about the whole thing is that we went from everything being on one floor to having two flights of stairs when I'm 20+ weeks pregnant - what was I thinking?! And the stairs are treacherous, they've even made my adventurous, brave little Lily nervous so she keeps asking to be carried up/down.
It's been rather hectic, so my only chance to be on TB has been on my phone when I'm waiting somewhere. Stupid mobile Bump pisses me off too much (can't stand signing in every.single.time I want to post something), so I've managed to read a few posts but not respond to anything. It'll be nice to get back into things here.

Re: Moved!
I'm impressed, I still have boxes, 18 months later. Granted they are in the garage attic. At this point I should probably just donate it. I think it is a fountain for punch some cake plates and other weird crap.
Back to the point.
Enjoy making your house a home!
Congrats! Enjoy your new house!
How has Lily adjusted to sleeping in a new place? (I ask because we are moving in a month.)
Penny, my parents moved from South Africa in 1979. For four moves (one to Minneapolis, one to Toronto and two more within Toronto) there were several boxes that NEVER got unpacked. When they moved into their current house in 1997 those last boxes were finally unpacked. You can imagine how important and useful the stuff in them was, when it hadn't been missed in nearly 20 years. That said, there will probably be a box or two that we don't get around to unpacking any time soon, but I'm proud of how well we've done so far. There's even a lady coming to pick up all the empty boxes today for her daughter to use for her move!
S&M, Lily's always been a really good sleeper. Going to sleep at night and for naps hasn't been a problem at all. But all this week she's been getting up earlier and earlier (crept from 7-7:30am to 6am); I wasn't sure if it was the new room, too much light coming in, or 'cause she kept pooping in her sleep. Either way, today she slept till 7 again so hopefully we're over that. Good luck with your move!
