  I'm glad there weren't any major complications - you had mentioned the surgery would be really hard on her. I hope she gets good rehab people - my dad's (hip surgery) were terrible and he didn't do anything about it. My aunt's (broken thigh due to weakened bones from cancer) were great, but she really fought to get everything her insurance covered and made sure they were doing everything they were supposed to.

  Is she getting a prosthetic?
