2013 Baby Jogger

Does anyone know when the new versions of the baby jogger city mini strollers generally come out? I am planning to buy the city mini, but am thinking I should wait until the 2013 version is released so I could maybe get a cheaper price on the 2012.

    It's usually around February or March that the new models become available in stores.

    There is not a new model released every year. The new model was released in 2012 and the double just this month, so it's very unlikely you will see any changes to the actual model. The only thing possible would be an additional color or a discontinued color. Aside from that, expect the 2012 to go forward through 2013.

    Funny I was looking into this yesterday. I found on their facebook page that this question was asked recently, and they said they will announce their 2013 models in october. I am holding off on my purchase until then.

    The manufacturers all announce their new models at the ABC children's expo in October but they do not come out in stores until the new year some time.

    They are coming out with new strollers. I'd expect to see a double Summit or something like that. You won't see a new City Mini.

    Hi,

    Baby Jogger has just announced that the City Mini and City Mini GT stroller will not be changing in 2013 (except for a new color on GT), so there most likely will not be any markdowns on 2012 stock since it will be identical to 2013.

    Also keep in mind that the 2012s just became available in stores in September, I think. I seriously doubt the 2013s will be available any sooner than summer and won't have any changes.

    the only reason the 2011s are marked down is that BJ did make design changes. Although I would consider the 2011 if you are on a budget. the design changes were nice but not mandatory.

    I purchased my first baby jogger in 2004 when my first born arrived, and have now put my jogger through six children ... and love, love, love it.  My husband and I have taken our children around the world and back again and our jogger has easily put in thousands of miles with no broken parts or need to change out old parts.  However, after almost ten years of use and abuse my husband and I decided to put our jogger to rest and purchased the 2013 baby jogger mini gt.
