Food Allergies PIP

This is why food allergies blow.

I got a call from MH today that he had a bad reaction to something in the shower. His face and head were swollen and was red and rashy and itchy down his back and shoulders and he was having trouble seeing. He took Benadryl and tried to wait it out since it wasn't affecting his mouth or throat.

Turns out the new shampoo I bought him had one ingredient list on the label but UNDER the label was a second different list that included some technical term for almonds. He felt like he couldn't get it off his head so I shaved it and after the swelling and rash were gone I made him let me put a little self tanner on it lol. At least now his head is summer ready?

  • I'm pretty sure there's nothing that gives me anxiety more than the thought having to use that f'ing epi pen. He usually has to do it once a year but I've never been there to have to be the one to do it. Fortunately he's always been in county so we don't have to pay the ambulance but they just raised our ER fee to 150 so the next stupid waitress that eye rolls his order and he ends up with something cross contaminated is getting that bill!

  • Ugh that sucks Lopes! I've seen those type of labels before. They are sneaky! Not to mention dangerous if they had caused him to go into anaphylactic shock.

Your H looks good bald though!
