Trouble TTC

Share your experience: Hysteroscopy

Stats: DD is 4 1/2 (normal, healthy pregnancy) and since then we have had 3 MC's (1st MC was twins).

We had our first Fertility appointment this past week. Going over all medical records and history they had decided the next best option for us is this procedure. My questions are: 1) if you have had this done, how was your experience? 2) Was this your first procedure? (asking b/c I thought an HSG would be first) 3) What did they determine after this was performed. Meaning, did you get the answers you were looking for or did you have further testing done to see what the problem was?

TIA ladies!

  • As far as going straight o Hysteroscopy, you would have to ask your doctor. No idea. I've had both a HSG and Hysteroscopy for my Infertility and with some Tylenol for the HSG and Percocet for the Hysteroscopy, it was fairly painless for me. Different for everyone though.

Haha, sorry.. I was mobile bumping and the word hysteroscopy didn't appear.. I had an HSG, bloodwork and a laparoscopy first. Never had a hysteroscopy.. Good luck though!!
