As if this year has not been a roller coaster enough....here is another twist in the ride!
I went to the doctor today, weight is looking good slowly coming down, Got all the info I needed for when we are ready to start IVF.....the doctir does an ultrasound to look at my ovaries and on the screen is a big black mass!
She confirmed that I emptied my bladder and I said yes. She says that we can not see my right ovary because the big black mass is blocking it. Turns out, I have a cyst the size of a 12 week pregnant uterus! Thats huge!
I was floored! So she told me that was a possibility that is why I may have not been successful getting pregnant yhis time around because one ovary is overworking while the other is blocked. Plus it may be why some positions during sex are uncomfortable tmi, I know.
When I get back to Phoenix, I will look into having it drained. Then go from there. I wish this year would just throw me a bone already!! Sorry for typos....mobile bumping
Re: Soooo....
Oh no.....Calibride. I am so sorry to hear this. Wow, how did it get so large? Was it a medicine that you were taking or? How annoying that you were trying to get back to TTCing sooner than later. Ugh! Keep your chin up and hopefully, it will be a quick recovery after you get it drained. Sending you BIG BIG HUGS all the way from Canada!
On a good note, maybe knowing this now will help for a quick BFP, after you get this cyst taken care of....maybe, this has been the problem, all along.
Best of Luck with all.....
Ps. I talked to my doctor today and he wants to move forward with the FET...Yippee. I, almost feel off the chair. I just knew he was going to tell me that it was a no go...I am just on top of the moon, so I am going to make room for you to join me!
oh, I went out for a walk today!
But, I am having one glass of wine. My first since two and a half months ago.....
Hope you are doing ok and wish that we could have a glass of wine together to get through this day. Take care.......
I knew I had a small one last year at my 6 wk pp check up, but never thought much of it. Up until recently, I have been having some aching on my right side but just chalked it up to AF.
My righr side is usually where I am uncomfortable during ovulation. I still have to do all the other testing related to fertility so I dont want to get my hopes up yet. My dr did the HSG blood test today and I should find out in a wk what the results are.
Yah, it would be nice to have a companion to go through all of this with and to share a glass of wine to drown the sorrows!! Im glad you went walking though! It feels good once you get going and into a routine. :
What part of Canada are you in?
calibride oh that sucks!!! I hope they are able to take care of soon, if yo have to have a Laparascopy/hysterocopy surgery its not too bad, well it wasn't for me.
Hope this clears you to a bfp though!!

I have had two small cysts. Actually, I had one this IVF cycle measuring at 3.3. Which is small, according to the nurse...I understand the pains and aches...not fun. Let me know how the testing goes...know I will have you in my thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear that they are starting the bloodwork and all to get you ready for what's next....hopefully, a BFP, right?!!
Oh, do you have to do your hysteroscopy in California to get your in network benefits or can you do it in Arizona. I see that your OB needs to get you a referral...hopefully, they can do it quickly and you can get this over with.....best of luck!
Yes, I hear ya...I would love to hang out and enjoy some girl time. I was born in San Francisco and am a California girl, too. Lived there most my life, til 36-37....then, moved to Texas for a short stint and now, I am in the province of Ontario, Canada in a small lake town called Innisfil. It is beautiful. I am one hour North of Toronto.....which is a fabulous city. Love it! If, you are ever in my neck of the woods, My husband and I would love to hang out with ya and your husband....It would be fun!
Again, please let me know how the results turn out on the test and all. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.....take care, sweetie!
Thanks for the inspiration to getting back into taking care of myself...I really appreciate it. The weather has helped, too. It is just beautiful outside and living next to the lake, helps during my walks...
Look forward to catching up soon.....
I just have the standard....
smile face for you to get up here and check it out! Only have to worry about airfare and just a little extra spending money for our adventures! Lol.....
And, remember, you live in beautiful Orange county....California and majestic Arizona!
It is a great place by the lake, just think of it, as one of your vacation spots to get out and visit one of your friends!
