STMs and dilation

After some issues this week with hbp, I've been to the doctor twice this week, and to the hospital once for a possible emergency induction. Which was denied by the hospitallong story. When I went to the dr on Monday I wasn't dilated at all, not even the littlest bit. Went today to find out that I'm 2cm and almost completely effaced! Question to my fellow STMs is this, did you progress quicker with the second pregnancy than with the first once the ball got rolling?

    I am 2 cm and 50% effaced for a week now with zero change.

    No, I was 1cm and 50 percent for over a week before I was induced. Once I was hooked up to Pitocin, things definitely went quicker than the first time.

    I was 1/2cm on a Tuesday and 4cm and 60 effaced on that Thursday, I was also in active labor for 9 hours at the time they checked me though.

    Both of mine progressed about the same. Each labour lasted pretty much the same time.

    Nope. 1st time I was dilated to a 3 by this point in pregnancy. This time I am still not dilated. I won't know about progress since this one will be a RCS. Good Luck.

    I was 2 cm at 37 weeks. 38 and 5 I was 4 cm and I had her that night after a quick 3 hrs of labor. It definitely was faster for me.

    I've dilated and progressed at totally different rates with each pregnancy.

    Once I was dilated to 3cm at 37wks, once (this time) not at all at 39. Go figure!

    With my first, my water broke but I wasn't progressing so I had to be induced. It took forever to get from 04 cm. I got epi at 4 cm and went from 410 in an hour and a half.
    With my second, I was not induced. I got to the hospital at "a fingertip" dilated and baby was born 3 1/2 hrs later.
