Stop screaming!!!

DS only took one long nap today instead of two and is super cranky. If he screams one more time I am going scream myself!!! Here are reasons why he screamed in the last half hour he put his ball in the mega blocks bag and couldn't get it back out, the ball was too big to fit inside the cup, he couldn't hold both golf clubs in one hand, I took away the golf clubs bc he was hitting the dogs and his sister, he put his binky in the weeble tree house and couldn't get the door back open....One hour until bed time, one hour until bed time, one hour until bed time!!!! Aye yi yi.

    Molar #3 popped through.. this mommy aint had much sleep the last few weeks between one thing and another... the last 2 nights have been rough with a capital ARRRGHHHHHHH

    I feel you ..after a full day at work I could use a lil down time... not gonna happen lol and my weekend will be pretty much filled with housework and catch up on stuff that cant get done in the week ...

    DS is trying out the screaming thing too and much more so when he's tired! One thing that has helped a little is I taught him a sign for "help", patting his chest with both hands. Now if he's getting frustrated with something I say "do you need help?" And do the sign and he does it too and then I help him. Many times he has asked for help on his own before getting to the point of screaming. This was the quickest he picked up on any of the signs we've tried, he started using it pretty much immediately! I think he thinks it's pretty awesome that he can ask for something and almost always get it. :]

    Awesome! I will try the sign, we have been using the word help a lot when he does it.
