Yesterday afternoon/evening and during the night I had HORRIBLE cramps. So bad that they actually woke me up and I contemplated going to the ER! Then my nursing background kicked in and I knew that they would not really be able to do anything for me.......(except for the pregnancy test that I have been avoiding) I am 11dp5dt and since my beta day 12 falls on a Saturday I don't have my beta until Monday. Ugh! I have had no bleeding, but of course I keep checking My questions: Could this be good or bad? the RE's nurse says that it could be my ovaries or implantation, but I think it is to late for implantation. right?? Did this happen to you and did you go on to have a viable pregnancy??
Thanks!!!

Surprise, our 2nd daughter P was born 5/22/14!
Since I'm 11dp5dt I don't think it is too early. It seems like many people have their 1st beta between day 9-12. DH thinks I should wait until at least tomorrow or Sunday, but I'm terrified of seeing only one line...PUPO, right??
I will probably just wait until my beta on Monday.....
Very glad to hear you had success!! Thanks!!

I thought 13dp5dt seemed pretty late for a beta. But having never done IVF, I was going to keep my mouth shut.
I still think you should POAS, but I'm just a bad influence like that.

Our clinic had us wait really long too. It is their standard procedure to wait until 14 days past the transfer to do the first beta. Since our transfer was on a Sunday I had to wait until Monday so it wound up being 15dp5dt.
I had pretty bad cramping but I tried not to look too much in to symptoms since I was on prometrium and the side effects mimic early pregnancy and also AF so you really can't tell. I had pretty bad cramping all of 1st tri. The ute starts to grow to make room earlier than you would think.
I was very impatient. I told DH that I wouldn't POAS but he ended up needing to go OOT for work the week after the transfer and I couldn't help myself. I actually started testing at 2dp5dt.....I wanted to see the negative so I could know my trigger was out. That one was negative but the next day I swore there was the faintest of faint lines and the next day it was definitely there. I actually got a + on a digital at 9dp5dt. Sorry if this doesn't help if you decided you wouldn't test. The waiting is hard, obviously I couldn't do it!
Lots of luck to you and keep us posted.
Unexplained Infertility
After two Clomid cycles, three injectable IUI cycles, two IVFs, two miscarriages, and one lap surgery, IVF #2 has brought us our little boy!
TTC #2
After months of being postponed or cancelled, FET #1.3 (Natural FET) brought us twin girls!
My second (and successful) IVF cycle I had terrible, terrible cramping after my transfer. It was so bad I called my RE to make sure nothing went wrong during my ER or ET. I don't know what it was (maybe progesterone?) but my cycle was successful and I had a pretty uneventful pregnancy.
Good luck!
