I'm a bit confused. I'm definitely showing but to anyone who didn't know they'd think I've just been eating too many pies! My belly isn't form at all. When you 'pop' is that referring to when it goes firm or does that not always happen?
Looks like I'm staying wobbly for a good while then as I'm definitely showing its just not firm :0
I'm not overweight, in fact I've lost weight everywhere else so I guess I was hoping I'd have a nice firm bump doesn't look like that's meant to be!
Since I put on weight over the last 7 years, most of it has been in my stomach. I have looked like a 'she might be pregnant' woman for a while now. It got even worse after I had my first two kids. So, even now at almost 20 weeks, there are some days when I definitely look pregnant, but there are also days when people tell me that they can't see any change. I think 'popping' is when people can definitely see that you are pregnant, no questions asked.
I think showing starts as soon as the bloating starts. It may not 'be' the baby, but it is definitely 'because' of the baby!

I consider when I popped to be when I could no longer suck in my stomach. I have had a definite baby bump for a few weeks now, but it's not fully firm.

Re: What does 'popping' mean?
Popping is when all of a sudden you have a very obvious baby belly over night.
Yes, this. It is when you are noticeably showing, and within a week prior or so you really were not.
