Eating

My DS is 7 months old and has been eating oatmeal cereal since he was 4 months and purees since he was 6 months. All of a sudden this week he has decided he doesn't want to eat anything. Hasn't really wanted to drink his formula(he usually takes 6 oz bottles every 3 hrs) right now he's lucky to drink 3-4 oz. He used to love his purees but now he doesn't want anything to do with them either. What do I do? He's got to eat right?!? I know that formula is his major form of nutrition, he was sleeping through the night but now since he hasn't been eating enough throughout the day he's been waking up to eat :(

    Sounds like he doesn't want to be spoon fed any more.  Try giving him some finger foods.

    I second the teething. When my LO is teething he wakes up at night to eat and chews on the bottle. Hopefully in a few days this will pass!

    This. My son did this just recently and now he will only take yogurt from a spoon...everything else he wants to feed to himself!
