Ugh-totally hating myself tonight.
LO fell at church tonight while standing on the floor holding on to a chair seat. I was right there but I turned my back for a second. He fell and hit his head on the floor(carpeted cement). He screamed but calmed down after a 2 minutes and I didn't see and bumps but I'm still worried since it was such a hard surface.
Of course this isn't the first time he has fallen and I know it wont be the last. But how do you know when to call/go to the doctor? If they are acting okay after a fall from standing/walking/pulling up can I assume they are okay?
I try to always be near LO when he is cruising and standing but sometimes you make a mistake and they fall anyway(even on their heads). I just want to cry.
How are you all handling any falls?
Re: When is a fall during pulling up/walking serious?
As long as the crying quits fairly quickly, there's no vomiting and their pupils seem normal I think they are fine.
Sorry your LO fell but glad he's ok! Don't feel bad it happens to all of us.
