P had his 18 month well visit today and he's doing great! He's a little peanut weighing in at a whopping 23 lbs 4 oz and 31ish inches. His anterior fontanelle has not closed yet and the pedi said it could be a sign of a Vitamin D deficiency. She doesn't want us to limit his milk intake and suggested we stick with the bottle 2x a day until he willingly drinks from a sippy. (i'm waiting on a new one to arrive from amazon). So, what are some ways I can get him extra Vitamin D? She suggested fish, eggs, and cheese. We have tried them in the past and he didn't like them and so we will try them again soon. Anything else you can think of?
Re: Sources of Vitamin D
He loves to be outside!! That seems easy enough.
NHbride: Vitamin D drops? I never heard of them. What brand do you use?
I use these ones. They have no taste so I put one drop on the top of his sippy cup before he drinks it. Hes 3 but I still use the baby ones.

Also, sunlight. Get outside as much as you can.
Definitely this.
Luckily, the weather has changed and he can play outside again! My mom has him out at least twice a day.
Thanks, ladies!
