Turning 31 next week..

and can't help but let that get to me a little. Not that being 31 is bad, but being 31 and struggling with IF is! Talk about your biological clock ticking... mine is about to explode like a time bomb!

The only thing getting me through is my repeat testing being done and the chance to see a new fabulous RE in June! Seems like a glimmer of hope at the end of the dark tunnel.

CD#21 labs on Saturday. Repeat SA and labs for DH on next Thursday. Onward we go!

Welcome to the 31 club! 31 hit me hard too because when I turned 30 I was still blissfully unaware of the IF issues we were facing. I remember saying that 30 would be the year for a baby. So when I turned 31 it was kind of a kick in the teeth ... a reminder that here we are a year later and still fighting with IF. I feel your pain.

I'm not far behind you! We started TTC when I was 29 and my "goal" was to get pregnant before I was 30, now my "goal" is before I turn 31.

HUGS! Birthdays are hard. While I haven't turned 31 yet (I will in July), 30 was really hard for me, so I get how it can be. Do something nice for yourself (massage, pedicure, whatever you want! You deserve it!

DH and I got married at 30 amd decided to wait. Stupidly we thought that we would beat 35 and conceive a year earlier. I'm now 35 and regret waiting.

I never I'm a million years thought I would be struggling to conceive.

I know I'm not going to have my two kids by the time I'm 35, or even one by the time I'm 34 if we conceive this cycle, I'll be due a month after my 34th birthday.nbsp;So hey, at least you're not me.

I was 31 too the year I got engaged and married! It was a great year for me!

Thanks everyone. Its not that I think 31 is old... its not by normal standards, but ya know. Its just another reminder that I'm without my sticky baby.

Great to know we are all here to support eachother. My Mom is coming to visit, and I think Wine, Mani and Pedi's are in order!

I hear ya. I turned 32 a couple of months ago, and I was positive I would have an LO by now, but unfortunately that just isn't how it worked out. That aside, I am loving my 30s so much and I hope that you are able to find joy in each passing year. Hope that your 31st year brings you your LO. :

My intention was not to make anyone feel old. Like I said before, I don't think 30's are old at all! But unfortunately, they are for TTC. After 35 its called Advanced Maternal Age for petes sake.

I also wouldn't trade my 30's to go back 10 years for anything! I love my DH, my career, my like... Just missing that little someone... that is all!!!

Thank you all for the birthday wishes. My Mother gets in town to day and we'll be doing a little pampering! I hope all of you have a GREAT weekend too!

I'm 32, and all I hear at the RE is "Just be glad you're so young! There are patients here who would give anything to be in their early 30s!" In my head, I feel like my clock is ticking, but it's good to hear that my RE thinks I'm still really young!

I totally feel you. Every birthday with IF is hard no matter what age you are turning. I am about to turn 33 which isn't that old in the world of IF but it's been making me crazy. If I couldn't get pregnant when I turned 30 how is it going to be any easier at 33? My upcoming birthday was a big factor in us taking the leap to IVF.

Milestones suck with IF, but I hope you have a Happy Birthday!.
