I seriously think he's putting himself to sleep?!

I almost can't believe it, and there's no one home to share this with!!!  I think my LO is putting himself to sleep right now.  He is very regimented in his bedtime routine, but tonight he was acting up and I told him I was putting him in the crib if he didn't stop. I was proud of myself for following through.  He cried like I expected, but after two wails, there has been silence.  That has never happened before!  I am in a bit of shock, thrilled and saddened at the same time because I lost out of the cuddling part of the routine.

    Congrats!  Here's hoping this becomes a trend.  I loved when my DS reached that point because it meant I could be away at bedtime and he'd be alright.

    Thanks, namara!  Your baby is adorable.  He seems like quite a comedian. He reminds me of my LO -- same pjs and likes to put thing on top of his head.  LOL!
