Infant CPR Class

Hey All,

     I signed my Husband and I up for a Heartsaver AED class which includes the infant CPR. Has anyone taken that class before and do they think it will suffice? or should we be taking a specific infant CPR class?

    I have taken so many CPR classes all of which include the infant portion and a couple with the AED and the instruction is the same. You are going to get taught the same technique regardless in order to get the certification.

    Good for you! I need to renew my certification, but that class should be perfectly fine. They covered infants, children, adults and elderly patients when I took it..... May as well have all your bases covered should God forbid you ever need it!

    No, that class will be good.

    Does it include choking?  That is something I would look into.

    I just finished CRP/AED/First Aid and I felt it covered infant/child stuff sufficiently.

    Thank you all for your comments and information. I will let everyone know how the class goes. It is not until June 29 though :)
