No, but my anatomy scan was at 16 weeks. Just what the MFM preferred to do. Did they say what the scan was for?
TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!
FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!
I had a 2nd level scan at 16 weeks in conjunction with an amnio as we pursued what turned out to be a false positive prenatal DNA screening result.
They did a 2nd level at 16 weeks, because they can see many of the organ structures and the lymphatic system has started working at 16 weeks.
I still had a 20 week (18-22 weeks) anatomy scan, because at 16 weeks the heart is not big enough to see all of those structures.
I don't know why they would suggest you do a 16 week scan between your NT-scan and your 20-week anatomy scan unless there is some other abnormal screening result.
