We're putting together a photo calendar on mpix.com with pictures from the last year of DS. And probably a small bouquet of flowers too. I saw cute mugs that you can put a picture on, on shutterfly too. Good luck
My sister and I traced our kid's hands on an apron, outlined them with puffy paint, let the kids color it, and wrote "Mema's Helping Hands." It turned out pretty cute.
I ordered a photo mug from Shutterfly for my mom. It has a picture of her and DD (her only grandchild). She drinks coffee every morning so I know she'll love it! I might get her something for the kitchen as a gift from me & SO.
The third time was the charm!

I did this too, and I think I'll probably put her favorite coffee grinds inside. The shutterfly mug came out great, and I found a coupon online.

Well - we're also in the "card & flowers" camp... While I'm crafty, I hit the lazy point and not wanting to deal with a ton of clutter or cost of DIYing something...

Ditto to the card!

I bought small canvases at a craft store and using LOs feet and some finger paint stamped a butterfly out.
