At 21 weeks how often should you feel LO move I havnt defiently felt her move in a little over a day. I usually feel little kicks here and there when I'm sitting still. Anyone else experiance this or know when to contact the doctor? Thank you.
I would call your Dr's office and see what they recommend. Trying drinking some ice water or eat some ice cream - seems to get my little guy to wiggle around.
This past week I went a few days without noticing movement, but now it's back! My doctor said at this point the baby's still so small that feeling her move will be infrequent anyway.
Yea I don't remember my Dr saying anything about it until I was 28 weeks but I just read online that around 24 weeks is when it becomes more regular. I think we are all (for the most part) a little early to start worrying. I remember days would go by and I wouldn't feel a thing when I was at this stage last time. Obviously if you are worried call but I still think its a little earlyso I wouldn't be too concerned.
Thanks for posting! Hearing some of the other ladies it sounds like they feel baby all day long and I've only been feeling nudges here or there. I think it is probably too early to feel too much. I like the ice water tip, I felt little nudges after drinking some!
I don't know about mine, but I do know things feel VERY different this time than last so I expect things are organized there differently than last time. I seldom feel movement and when I do it's more interior and subtle. Last time I was feeling almost constant movement starting at 15ish weeks. Just knowing the big range possible from two different kids, I'm aware that there is probably no right answer to this question. I'd call your doctor to check/ask, but s/he might say that kick counts aren't really relevant until later in the pregnancy.
Re: Lack of movement...
Some days I feel her a lot, some days she's quiet. There is still plenty of room in there.
Drink ice water or a coke and see if that gets her moving more.
Do you know about your placenta placement?
