Sorry I've been MIA but this week has been depressing and I haven't been doing much but going home and going to bed after work. Every time I go in for monitoring, it's just another probing and a blood draw. Still no word about when transfer will be.

My lining grew, then shrank (wtf), then started growing again, apparently.

Now I'm at 5.7, which doesn't feel even slightly close to me to the 8 the RE wants to see for transfer.

I've been having to insert the estr.ace vaginally *shudder*, which in case anyone is wondering, isn't fun the first day but REALLY isn't fun the 7th day.

Le sigh.

Hey Ladies~ I am just moving along with my FET protocol. My lining was a 6.7 yesterday and I go back on Tuesday for another check. So the transfer will be the following week after that or two weeks later depending on how my lining looks next week. I am both excited and scared to death. GL to everyone else cycling and (((hugs))) to anyone who needs them.

PAIF update

I'm 39 wks today! BP was a little high at yesterday's appt (134/88), but she only seemed a little concerned. I just got a "take it easy over the next week". I love my OB and she's gone this weekend, so I REALLY hope baby doesn't come until next week.

We got all the floors done in the house finally!!! And doors are going back on hinges, and our computer is set up again! I think we finally have all we need for when LO comes (even if it's not out of the box or set up yet) so that makes me feel a lot better about things too. Smile

Hi, ladies. I have been in hiding but I am still here. I have been feeling really exhausted lately. I didn?t feel like this after my first C/P but something is different this time (both physically and mentally).

Scoop, good luck with your estrace! I know how much fun it can be If the FET is successful you will likely be blessed with continuing it until 10 weeks. I was doing the ?insertions? three times daily. Strange, but I actually wish I could be leaking mint green goo right now. Sad but true. IF has really messed with my head!

T&P's to all that need them!

PAIF Update: Monday I had a car accident on my way to get my blood taken and then the lab lost the blood. Tuesday I had the Amnio, it went well. Then I got a call today that they could not do the FISH Test for Tris 18,13,21 because my blood mixed with the amniotic fluid so now I have to wait 10days for the results. I wish someone would take me out to the back 40 and shoot me because that would be easier then this constant stress. I am having my a/s on Monday and am not looking forward to it. But on the upside a girl I know from the Beer Center who had ovarian cancer and has done 5 FETs before going to Beer got her BFP today and I am so excited for her.

Hugs to all! Sounds like a tough week for quite a few and I hate days like that. Ugh!

As for me, I started my period this past Sunday and it was awful! Heavy and cramps galore! The good news is that my clinic allowed me to take Aleve instead of Tylenol this week, which is a tremendous help! Tylenol is about worthless for endo aches and pains.

I also got my first Lupron Depot injection on Monday. I definitely have the common sexy night sweats and some minor nagging headaches, but I am super excited to have some relief from the period pain.

We are a week and one day into our two week wait for CCS results, but who's counting! Ha! I am feeling really really anxious about "the call". Just hoping for something anything to get us to a transfer late summer. I have no idea what to expect and that terrifies me. It could go any direction and it is out of my control.

Kitty - I'm so sorry this time has been harder on you. Huge ((hugs))!

Luv - Some people have all the luck, huh? Even if it is bad luck. T&P that things turn around for you and you're able to enjoy at least some part of this PG!

AFM: I'm just trucking along, living up the housewife life. I've gotten so much accomplish this last week and I'm loving being at home! DH is loving having me at home too. Too bad housewifery doesn't come with health insurance or IF benefits. It's funny how a few days after DH finally agreeing to donor embryos we had to put a hold on it. Also, I'm a little peeved that the third party coordinator at my RE's office has STILL not called me after my April 15th appt!! I'd even left her a voicemail a few days after that appt since I hadn't heard from her. I don't need her services right now anyway, but that's just unprofessional.

Scoop - I am sorry to hear about your lining issues. I've been there too with that awful blue pill, I hated it! I hope it's just what you need.

Hootie - Good luck at your monitoring!!

Gregermis - You are almost there! So excited for you!

Sophistikitty - I'm sorry you've been so exhausted. I hope things start returning to "normal" and you feel better soon.

Luvboston - Yikes! Sorry about your car accident. I'm glad your amnio went well, I have my fingers crossed for great results that can put your mind at ease. And that's great about your friend.

RPL - Good luck with your Lupron and I hope your test results are good. FX!

DP - I'm glad you're enjoying the time off while you have it. I had some months of housewivery when we first moved to Texas as I looked for a job and it was nice. But I do hope you are able to find something as soon as you're ready and things work out perfectly.

AFM: We got the first draft of the contract made by our attorney so the donors are reading it over and sending their requested changes to us. I've got the lab director at my lab ready to coordinate shipping once the contracts are all signed. I'm also waiting for a checklist of bloodwork that needs to be done, so there is a lot to do and the donor could give birth any day which will slow things down significantly. So it's a race against the clock. Fingers crossed, but so far things have been lining up well! Can't wait to "meet" our new snowflakes.
