NBFR I am done with this semester! AW

Whoo! Spring semester is over! I only took two classes this semester (but it's only my 2nd semester back and I took 1 class last semester), and I came out with an A and a B! I can't tell you how extremely relieved and proud I am. I have to thank my supportive husband and understanding kids, though. I was totally questioning whether I wanted to quit again and wait until DS is in school. And prayer has gotten me through all of it. Without God I would have gotten nowhere.

There is really no board for student parents here, but am so excited, I just had to get it out!

Now to get DH finished up. He has practicals Monday, class final Tuesday, then exit exam, and then on to the NREMT! We are almost there! T&P's for him that he will remain calm and focused and not get nervous or anxious. He knows this stuff. He just needs to relax!

  • I am a student parent. I'm a full time student in an accelerated program. You should be really proud of yourself for finishing up your semester, and for making such high grades. It is so much work to do well in school while being a parent. I feel like all I'm ever doing is homework, research, and finals. I hope your H keeps his anxiety to a minimum and does well. Congrats again on finishing out your semester with high marks!

I have been working full time and going to school inly part time while DH has stayed home to be a full time student this past year. But now that he will be done this year... crossing my fingers... I still think I am.only going to stay part time for another year while working full time. I am completely my agriculture, animal science bachelor, so since I am already a vet tech, wbich is my career goal, there really is no rush. It's just a personal goal for me, really. And maybe a step towards teaching in the new vet tech bachelors concentration that has just been started at my university. That's a thought on the table, too.

Lucky, my semester doesn't end until May 17th. I am not taking any classes this smmer. I work FT, go to school FT in an accelerated program. I am ready for a break. I took classes last summer and it is just too much to not have more than a 2 week break between classes. I can't wait for summer break!

  • I'm currently doing some online schooling. It's to add qualifications to my teaching certificate. I'm at times wanting the end of June to be here now, and wanting time to slow down so I can do a good job on my assignments. I seriously can't wait til I don't HAVE to take any more, and I can do some "fun" courses.
