s/o engagement rings
Do you always wear your e-ring and your wedding band or just your band?
I rarely wear either at home, I'm cooking/cleaning/wiping poo so I don't like to.
When out, 9.9 times out of 10 I wear both but there have been a few times when O was real little I only wore the band because the engagement ring would scratch him.
Re: s/o engagement rings
If I'm wearing them at all, I always wear both. And I always wear my right hand ring, then too. It's all three rings or no rings at all for me.
My right hand ring is a very plain silver band with waves carved in it that I have had since college. I've often said that I wanted a nice, grown-up looking sparkly right hand ring, like an anniversary band or something, but that would mean I had to stop wearing my wave ring, and I'm not ready to do that. I sort of don't think I ever will be. It's who I am.
Today, I'm not wearing any rings.
but when I'm out I wear both, always.
Around the house, I'm usually ring-less.
When I do wear them, I normally wear both of them. However, I bike to work in the summer (when I'm not pregnant) and then I will just wear the wedding ring. I don't like to wear the e-ring while I bike and I also don't want to just toss it in my bag.
When we bought the rings, the jewelry store guy thought I would regret not soldering them together and said that I would come back within a year, but he was wrong and I do like the option of wearing just one.
My e-ring is gold and my band is silver. I considered getting my e-ring dipped, but they said I'd have to get it dipped every 6 months or so. So instead I just wear them how they are. I always wear them together.
if I'm not wearing them together I'm just wearing my band. It's from Tiffany's and I'm obsessed with it.
I usually wear them both all the time.
The first half of this pregnancy between the weight I'd lost after having Augie, the crazy m/s I had, and it being winter, my rings were falling off so I bought a cheapie at Walmart. Those couple months were the only time I've ever gone w/out my rings. But I still had to wear something, ringless made me feel naked.
I do not have mine soldered as of now. I'm really hoping for an anniversary band in the coming 2-5 years and when I get that I'll solder all 3 together.
