  I don't know....did they tell you anything with the type of IUD you have what to expect? I know some women have super light to no periods with their IUDs....

  They usually say if it's 60-90 days past then go see your dr but I'm betting your OB will just say something along the lines of after a baby...iud...blah blah blah...just wait.

  Do you have a followup for your IUD to check the location?  (my OB did an u/s a month later to check it) If so, you could ask then.

  If you didn't have your period when you got your IUD put in, then it is possible that you won't get your period so long as you're on it. That's what I was told when I looked into getting Mirena.

  I do have a follow up appointment soon so I'll ask. I probably should have mentioned that I got the Paraguard, not the Mirena. I've been bracing myself since I was told to expect heavier periods on it, but so far nothing at all. I had fertile fluid about a week before the IUD so I thought for sure AF would arrive soon, but this is messing with my head.
