My poor baby :(

DD2 fell last night on one of those sidewalk solar lights. got a black eye and she chipped her front tooth

We have a dentist appointment tomorrow. they said they would look at her tooth and do a whole cleaning since she hadnt been there. i'm not sure what they will do, if anything, for her tooth. i'm a little nervous to take her to the dentist though...not sure how well she will cooperate and if it will just end up being more traumatic. anyone else taken LO to the dentist yet?

Poor little thing. There isn't much the dentist can do for her tooth. They can check to make sure the gums are intact, I think, but as for the tooth itself, I think only time will tell if it truly was damaged . I can't imagine a LO that young sitting still in the dentist chair, so I am thinking they will more likely just look at her mouth vs do an actual exam.

FWIW, DD1 has a dead tooth. No biggie. Heck we don't even know how or when it happened and she never ever complained about it. I just noticed her tooth was grey and took her to see the dentist and that's when they told me grey tooth = dead tooth, regardless of how dark the tooth actually is. Nothing to do about it. I know that's not what you asked about, but I thought the info might be useful to you...
