Have you transitioned your LO yet?

How did it go? Any advice?

I have a horrible sleeper on my hands, so I'm dreading it. I would like to at least set the toddler bed up in his room in the next few months so he gets use to the idea before baby comes.

We haven't done it yet. She loves her crib and is still sleeping great.

I dread the transition so I'm going to wait as long as possible. I also want to put her in a double right away (I'm not making 2 or 3 transitions and we already have one) and I think she's a bit young yet.

I'm also no quite ready for her to be done with the crib...so no rush.

We have no plans to transition DS1 until he starts climbing out of the crib. I'm hoping its not til late summer or fall since DS2 will probably arrive in May. My goal is to have DS2 STTN before switching DS1's crib to toddler bed.

I moved my daughter to a twin bed about 2 months ago and it has gone very well. She's on the cautious side so she hasn't ever tried climbing out of bed or anything like that and she actually sleeps better in her new bed than she was in her crib! My husband and I just went ahead with the switch because we figured it really couldn't get much worse and we just ended up getting lucky that it went so well. GL with your decision!

I'm hoping it goes the same for us. DS seems like he hates his crib. I'm hoping he likes the bed, better.

We did it a few weeks ago. She loves it,and made no fuss about the transition. She knew how to climb out of the crib,so I figured we would go for it.

We are going from the crib straight to a twin. LO #2 is due end of August, and I need to attempt getting rid of the paci AND have him out of the crib before the baby arrives. We just ordered his new bed yesterday, and it will be ready beginning of July. I'd like to have him in it by his birthday so I still have a month (hopefully) to get him accustomed to it, before the baby comes and flips his entire world upside down. Keep me posted when you make the switch and let me know how it goes, since you'll likely be before me. I am scared too!!

This! She has never tried climbing out, and loves it in there. She's slept 1012 hours a night since four months, so I'm not rushing.

We tried it on Sunday -- and so far its been great! She loves her bed, and hasn't tried to get out once yet, and still sleeps 12 hours a night and has a good nap too. Phew!
