OT Jury Duty

So I was notified that I was selected for jury duty for the fifth time in seven years so I talked to my doctor and got a medical excuse since I am EBF. Its not that I don't want to serve its just that I have really been selected to serve five times in seven years!!!! Well, it turns out that the medical excuse was unnecessary. The man on trial is a former client of mine so I would have been dismissed anyway.
                We're Going to be a Family of 5!

    I have been summoned for jury duty 3 times. The first time I was in college and it was finals, so I was excused. The second time I had just moved from the city to the county, so I was excused (it was city jury duty). The third time I was EBFing DD, so I was excused.

    The first time I was summoned I had just moved out of state and the summons was forwarded. I called and was excused. The second time I was EBF my daughter and was excused. The third time there were no trials during that period... yes small town, lol. The fourth time I had to call the day of service but my group was dismissed. And then this time I was excused again.

    I've only been called once, when I was going to college out of state. Needless to say, I was excused. I'm 30 now and haven't been called since. Not sure how that happened, but I'm pretty sure I just jinxed it! But I EBF as well, so I suspect I'd be excused if I were called any time soon.

    This just reminded me that I had to call to check if they could allow me to pump. They said no and I would be excused. The lady didn't sound too happy with me, but oh we'll I guess.

    I recently got summoned to jury duty and I filled out the form to be excused. Well guess what comes in the mail today. A letter saying it was deferred until June 17th. Wtf. I am going to need to call and see if I can get excused.

    I'm so glad you posted this. I didn't know you could use EBF as an excuse. I mean, if I got jury duty I don't know what I'd do with my DS!
