f/u to Tongue Tie

Thank you to everyone who responded to my post below. So over the weekend, my dd suddenly starts to use her tongue a lot more. Like it clicked - I have this thing in my mouth. She is sticking it out a bit more. I am thinking we should hold off on any surgery until after a few months of speech therapy and tongue strengthening is that the right way to go?

    Try it and see how it goes, if you're really unsure of the cause of the speech problems, but be cognizant of the fact that all the speech therapy in the world isn't going to fix a tongue tie that is severe enough to cause speech problems. I'm more surprised that the clip isn't being recommended just based on her feeding issues alone!
