Silly anxiety

My logical brain knows my life will be "AL" forever - but every now and then something comes up that smacks me in the face with it. I'm supposed to have a mirena put in this week, and I am terrified about the pregnancy test beforehand. I know the nurse will do it, and I won't even have to see it, but just knowing its happening is really setting me on edge. Stupid anxiety. I know it is ridiculous thing to get worked up over but yeah... there it is. I was so glad to put all that behind me being one and done but ugh.

    I can completely understand that.  It's weird how the mind works - isn't it?  I hope that the procedure goes swimmingly this week and that you feel better soon!!  (HUGS)

    Thanks ladies - I'll be glad to have it over with.
    Daylights its good to hear you liked it, I'm hoping it works out, I have heard some crazy stories but it seems like the easiest possible option.
