A Day in the Life of jodegaard!

Good morning!
"Five more minutes."
DH left early this morning, so James plays with a box while I make breakfast: scrambled eggs w/salsa and applesauce.
After we eat...."Hey, let's go outside!"
He has to make sure the ants and sticks are still there.
Then it's naptime for him and shower time for me.
I put on my supermom uniform: top, jeans, and slippers. Then I get other important things done while I wait for James to wake up.
After he wakes up and eats, we get ready to run some errands.
We go to Carter's and Old Navy, because I have coupons. Surprisingly, I don't buy anything. Sooo home we go!
When we get home, we play with legos and then it's naptime again.
When his nap is over, we go to a friend's house to play for the afternoon. I would put pics of James and his friend, but I don't know how my friend would feel about that.
It's dinner time when we get home. James is fascinated by his bib.
Then I get him ready for bed and since this is the one night a week that DH doesn't work late, James waits for him to get home.
He gets to play with daddy for a bit and then I feed him and he goes down for the night.
We eat dinner (orange chicken and broccoli). I clean up while DH writes his LAST paper for his Masters degree (!!!). I watched some baseball before I got ready for bed and then read until I fell asleep.

Ps how did you go to old navy AND carters, and not buy anything? You're a stronger woman than I.

I don't know what came over me at those stores. I saw lots of things I liked, but nothing I loved...but I still usually buy something anyway.
