1st OB appt. Maybe high risk?

Hey all! Had my first OB appt today. I love my OB and she is being very thorough. My last pregnancy I had preterm labor starting at 31.5 weeks, was in the hospital, got steroid injections, etc. etc. DS ended up coming at 37 weeks and was over 7lbs (no GDM diagnosed)! 

So I guess I didn't think much about what would be different this time. I will get an early glucose screen with my early labs next week, and again at 28 weeks. I also am hypothyroid and on meds, so I will get that checked pretty frequently.  And she is having me go to a MFM consult to see whether I will need P17 injections starting at 17 weeks and/or more frequent u/s monitoring to check cervical length.  

I told DH all this and he was like, whoa! This one is going to be completely different! But I'm glad she is being very proactive! Guess I might be telling work a little earlier this time  

My u/s is scheduled for next Friday, so if all goes well we will tell our immediate family on Mothers Day!
