Are you guys bigger this time around? I was looking at pictures when I was around 36 weeks pregnant with my son and I'm the exact same size as I am now at 31 weeks. Even my mom says I'm huge. The doctor says I'm measuring right on schedule though. Do doctor's use a different measuring tape or something for second time moms??
To this I say LOL. I am a BEAST this time. I carried large and in front last time but this time I have extra fluid, a large baby, and am measuring close to 4 weeks ahead. If I truly last the next 6 weeks, I shudder to imagine what I will look like.
I feel like I'm bigger but I'm not sure. I guess technically I am a little because DS1 was measuring a little bit small near the end and this baby is measuring right on schedule. But I've gained less this time around.... Oh well, it is what it is, right?

This for me, only I don't have extra fluid. There are days when I am not sure if I can physically last another 6 weeks.
ETA: I have gained about the same amount (altough this time I started out about 8lbs lighter) and am measuring right on time.
Okay, this is the only shot I could find on this computer right now but this was from the night before I delivered Lucy. So...39 weeks, 2 days. I seriously look like that right now.
Apologies for the bare belly and yes, those are my underoos.
They're measuring uterus size (fundal height?), not your actual belly size. I am pretty sure I am bigger, but my uterus is actually measuring a little smaller (1cm behind) this time.
Sometimes I think I'm bigger, but then I look back and then I feel like I'm the same. My mom has said for months now that I just look huge, but I ignore her bc, well I'm growing a baby, what did you expect? lol
Also people keep saying that I'm for sure carrying a boy bc I'm "all belly" and carrying in the front. But that's exactly how I was with DD.
Well I'm third time but I feel like I'm a little bigger than I was with the other two, but then I look at my belly and it's really not that big. I've carried every one different...DD high, DS low, and this one is kind of in-between and has been transverse the whole time. I am always mostly belly and out front. I do know I started showing faster but at some point it evened out.

I feel smaller this time around. Last time, DS was measuring big the whole time. This time, DD is measuring right on track. I have also been more active with chasing a toddler and walking on the treadmill. I haven't been swollen this time around which has made such a BIG difference. I was so swollen with DS, I felt like a balloon.

Yeah, I sure think so. DH keeps saying it's because I've already "stretched out" once before, so this time, both my boobs and belly are getting bigger more easily.
:::insert eyebrow raise here:::
But maybe he's right. This baby is apparently not as big as DD was, so there has to be some reason for the bigger belly.
Or maybe we both just forgot jut how big my belly got last time.
I'm not only bigger this time around, but so is my baby!! I was measuring 4-5 weeks ahead, so dr. ordered an ultrasound. At the time (this was 2 weeks ago), baby was measuring 35 weeks in belly and head.....I was 31 weeks! He is already measuring to be 6 lbs!! Now I know the ultrasound can be off, but looks like this one is going to be a BIG baby! I can't imagine how big I am going to be in 6 weeks!!

I was bigger and showing sooner early in the pregnancy. But now I definitely look smaller than I did at 34 weeks when I was pregnant with M. I started off this pregnancy about 20 pounds lighter than my starting weight with M, so I think that has a lot to do with it.
I feel huge as well, I think because we are already stretched out from the first, it shows more. I have to tell myself something to feel better, lol. I seriously don't think I can take another 8 weeks of this!

IT'S A BOY
Yes and no.

This. Man do I feel like a beast though.
Same here! I don't remember being "over it" this early. I am 33 weeks on Thursday. I don't think I can do this for another 7 weeks.......
DD was born at 38 weeks so maybe just maybe it will be 5 weeks? I'm measuring a week ahead, so it wouldn't be "early" by much.
