My doctor just switched me to biweekly appointments. What is the reason for the frequent visits?

    How far along are you? It's standard practice at 30 weeks. When you get to 36 weeks or so, you'll be going once a week.

    I have been at two weeks for a while due to being high risk, but we had been told that third tri starts every two weeks because things can change quickly and they want to make sure things are progressing the way that they should.
